We believe that documentaries are more than mere records; they are catalysts for understanding, reflection, and change. By staying true to authenticity and striving for innovation, we are committed to making complex topics accessible and sparking conversations in society. Our work serves as a bridge that preserves knowledge and stories for future generations, always keeping the human being at the center. We aim to illuminate the big questions of our time with a critical and empathetic perspective, always with the goal of seeing the world in a new light and telling the stories that shape us all.

Synopsis

At the heart of Scratching the Surface is Line Hoven, an acclaimed illustrator and single mother, renowned for her unique scratchboard technique. As generative AI disrupts the creative landscape, Line faces an existential challenge: How do artists stay relevant in this new world?

This immersive VR experience follows Line’s personal and artistic transformation as she steps into the unknown, redefining her creative identity. Through her journey, Scratching the Surface offers a profound reflection on the relationship between art and technology, not through theory, but through lived experience.

In an era of unprecedented AI advancements, we stand at a pivotal historical moment. Scratching the Surface invites audiences to witness and participate in this generational shift, challenging artists to take an active role in shaping AI’s creative future.
